However, due to the nature of travel services and varying supplier policies, refunds and returns are subject to specific conditions outlined below. This policy complies with UAE consumer protection regulations and applies to all bookings made through our website.

  1. Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refund eligibility is determined by the airline’s fare rules.
  • Non-refundable fares will not be eligible for any refund unless the airline permits an exception.
  • Refunds for refundable tickets are processed after deducting applicable airline and service fees.

 

  1. Hotels
  • Hotel cancellation policies vary by property and rate type (e.g., non-refundable, flexible).
  • Refunds may not be available for last-minute cancellations or no-shows.
  • Early check-out or late check-in refunds are at the discretion of the hotel.

 

  1. Tour Packages
  • Refunds for tour packages are available only if cancelled within the terms specified during booking.
  • Custom-made or group tours are subject to separate refund conditions.
  • Some tours may involve non-refundable third-party costs.

 

  1. Visa Services
  • All visa service fees are non-refundable once processing begins, regardless of the outcome.
  • We are not responsible for visa denials by embassies/consulates.

 

  1. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, you must:

  • Submit a written request to sales@web.akfatravel.ae within the eligible cancellation period.
  • Include your booking reference, travellers’ full name, and reason for refund.
  • Allow up to 21 business days for processing once the refund is approved by the supplier.

 

  1. Refund Method
  • Refunds will be made using the original method of payment (credit/debit card, bank transfer, etc.).
  • Bank processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
  • Service fees and payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable.

  1. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • No-show at departure points (flights, hotels, tours).
  • Denied boarding or entry due to passport/visa issues.
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, government travel bans) unless otherwise specified by the provider.

 

  1. Modification & Rebooking

If you prefer to reschedule or modify your trip instead of cancelling:

  • Changes are subject to availability and fare difference.
  • Rebooking fees may apply based on the service provider’s policy.
